Long-time Industry Executive Brings Expertise to Board

ST. PAUL, MN, October 1, 2015 – Magni Global Asset Management today announced that Mark Schlafly has been named to its board of directors. As the former CEO and President of FSC Securities Corporation and Advantage Capital Corporation, Mr. Schlafly adds both distribution and operational experience to Magni’s Board of Directors.
“As a recognized and respected leader in the investment industry and in academia, Mark will provide valuable strategic insight to our Board. Mark’s guidance will be instrumental as we pursue growth opportunities,” said Kurt Lieberman, CEO of Magni.

Mr. Schlafly also held senior positions with LPL and A.G. Edwards and Sons. He is currently with Washington University in St. Louis at the Olin Business School. He is also on the Board of Directors of Behringer Harvard Fund. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Louis University, MO, and is a graduate of the Securities Institute from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, PA.
